This project consisted of a complete transformation of an outdated kitchen and ground-floor living area into a modern, open-plan, functional, and high-specification space. The works combined structural modification, electrical upgrades, kitchen installation, flooring, and full decoration to deliver a fresh and contemporary finish. Scope of Works 1. Kitchen Installation Assembly and installation of new bespoke kitchen units in a two-tone colour scheme (light grey wall units, graphite base units). Fitting of integrated appliances including: Bosch oven Gas hob Stainless-steel chimney extractor Under-mounted sink and modern mixer tap Installation of premium compact laminate worktops with matching upstands. Ceramic splashback tiling throughout the entire cooking and sink area. Adjustment of pipework and electrical points to suit new layout. 2. Lighting & Electrical Works Full upgrade to LED recessed ceiling spotlights throughout kitchen and dining area. New socket installation, switches, and appliance feeds, all tested and certified. Dedicated cooker circuit installation meeting current UK electrical safety standards. 3. Flooring Supply and installation of luxury wood-effect vinyl flooring (LVT) across the entire ground floor. Seamless installation with no trip edges and full perimeter finishing. Moisture-resistant and high-durability product ideal for kitchen areas. 4. Living & Dining Area Renovation Creation of an open-plan space with smooth transitions into the kitchen. Installation of: New skirting boards New plaster where required Full painting and decorating to a high standard Skylight installation providing natural light into the dining area. New French doors installed with access to the garden, enhancing space and brightness. 5. Additional Joinery Work Installation of custom storage units and cabinetry in oak finish. Under-stair storage cupboard refurbishment.
